NamClear Presents 2026 CSR Donations to Beneficiaries

On Friday, 20 February 2026, in Windhoek, Namclear reaffirmed its commitment to the Namibian people by pledging N $ 755, 755,284 towards its 2026 Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) budget. Since the inception of the CSR programme in 2022, Namclear has increased its social investment by 34 per cent, signalling a deep- rooted belief that sustainable business growth must go hand- in- hand with environmental and social progress.

The 2026 initiatives, spread across four key pillars: Education and Livelihood, Environmental Sustainability, Humanitarian Welfare, and Emergencies and Natural Disasters, address some of the most pressing challenges facing the nation, with a specific focus on protecting vulnerable citizens. To help fight Namibia’ s gender-based violence, Namclear has committed to supporting the “MakeANoise” Personal Safety Alarm campaign. Furthermore, Namclear is extending a lifeline to the Ruach Elohim Foundation to help expand its facilities. This support comes at a critical time, as the foundation’s “Baby Saver Box” has saved 49 infants since its inception, highlighting the desperate need for safe refuges. By funding the construction of additional rooms, Namclear aims to support the capacity of those fighting the heartbreaking issue of baby dumping.

Education and youth development also sit at the heart of this year’s donations. The funding will provide bursaries, school uniforms, and outreach programmes to ensure that a child’s background does not dictate their access to quality learning. Beyond the classroom, Namclear is investing in the nation’s potential through the sponsorship of sports programmes. This holistic approach to community development extends to environmental health through national cleaning projects and humanitarian support for feeding programmes and hospital welfare, ensuring that the dignity of every individual is recognised and upheld.

Namclear’ s leadership called on the private sector to continue leaving positive footprints. By standing alongside those who serve the overlooked and the vulnerable, Namclear hopes to actively contribute to the strategic ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) pillar, underscoring environmental and social progress.
